Job Description
36 years experience in development using Java (JVM)
1 year of experience in developing frontend components of enterprise or B2B applications with good understanding of HTML CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and JS frameworks (Angular)
Providing subject matter expertise to implement and support our applications
Delivering fullstack software development to achieve frontend and backend code in a systemoriented environment
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop product capabilities
Design and implement REST APIs used by other apps and customers to access core objects and data
Design and develop webbased applications that Akamais customers will utilize
Create new features from scratch enhance existing features and optimize existing functionality
Manage changes to existing systems to ensure that they align with the longterm strategy
Serve as a subjectmatter expert in continuous delivery and developer tools
Work to understand explain and improve complicated code bases
Work with our QA to come up with regression tests that cover new changes to our software
Collaborating with software engineering teams in an Agile environment on code review design process and product development
Docker and Spring framework experience
