Job Description
Key Accountabilities
Impact on Business (i.e. business contribution nature and scope of responsibility risk and financial management strategic/tactical/operative responsibility)
- Drive consistent and aggressive growth through channel partners annually
- Own annual target setting process thru bottoms up planning
- Analyse & validate potential of customers serviced by distributor.
- Provides full visibility of sales pipeline.
- Work along with Distributors sales team to increase market share at their strategic accounts. Use key account management as a guiding approach to determine growth actions
- Give suggestions to implement growth oriented incentive program
- Evaluate opportunities for right sizing the distribution network thru periodic whitespace analysis
- Identify and develop distribution prospects in emerging areas of Electric and Process Automation
- Conduct regular distributor reviews/assessment using the right performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement
- Use analytical rigour to steer distributors product portfolio to ensure alignment with organisational objectives
- Develop training plan to consistently enhance distributors technical competencies.
- Develop marketing plan using different avenues (expotainer roadshows and tech talks)
Innovation and Change (i.e. range and diversity of activities problems processes market dynamics and management challenges that need to be recognized and resolved improvement of processes systems or products)
- Use market intelligence and macro economic trends to plan and mitigate any economic headwinds
- Leverage local market knowledge to keep abreast of developments or changes with key competitors
- Develop robust mechanism to effectively control conflicts across different dimensions (intra distributor interchannel)
- Continuously enhance and improve the overall maturity of the distribution business
