Vessel engineer

1. The Static Equipment Engineer is expected to have highly qualified on design and fabrication concepts of both
Offshore and Onshore Pressure Vessels Heat Exchangers and Tanks.
2. Required handon experience in COMPRESS or PV ELITE software to perform Pressure vessels & Heat Exchanger
calculation
3. Proficiency in ASME Sec. VIII Div.1 & Div.2 EN 13445 PD5500 Codes API 650 API 12F & TEMA standards major
client specifications Industry and Safety standards.
4. Knowledge and exposure on reviewing Pressure Vessel GA drawing and detail fabrication drawing
1. Study and understand the static equipment scope of work and quickly become conversant to Schlumberger procedures and
standards.
2. Prepares Mechanical Design Basis Datasheet and Mechanical calculations based on applicable Codes and client
specifications including agreed exceptions.
3. Review subsupplier calculations and drawings to ensure compliance with client specifications or applicable standards as
required.
4. Provide necessary dimensional sketches preliminary vessel weights and engineering instructions to the designing team as
required to identify locations of nozzles supports and other vessel attachments.
5. Assist in providing necessary design information to Project/Client/Third Party as required
6. Prove mechanical design of pressure vessel internals trays baffles and distribution piping supports when required.
7. Participate in 3D model review as required.
8. Assist in developing SLB Specifications and Standards for Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers.
9. Should be able to work in both metric and imperial units.
10. Assigned tasks should be executed with minimum supervision.
11. Ability and willingness to travel as required to fulfill project and business needs.
12. Actively support participate in and maintain the integrity and ongoing function of the Company and facility HSSE program;
ensuring a safe/healthy work environment.
13. When delegated must be able to complete the tasks with Company and Client standards and quality requirements
