IC Technician

Must have Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation/Electrical with minimum 23 years
of experience in instrumentation & control field devices testing & calibration.
Should have experience in major instrumentation & control device testing control wiring and
handling measuring instruments.
Job Role & Responsibility:
Testing of instrumentation & control equipment such as indicating instruments
transducers transmitters pressure switches controllers and electronic controls and
devices.
Calibration & configuration of control instruments like flow level pressure
temperature.
Securing clearances on energized lines associated valves actuators & ensuring
healthiness of equipment i.e. determining when it is safe to work on such equipment
and when to return it to service.
Commissioning tests of control circuits equipment and detecting defective
components in control systems.
Inspection calibration adjust troubleshoot and repair electric electronic &
pneumatic instruments.
Testing accuracy of flowmeters pressure gauges temperature indicators counters
detectors.
Preparation of reports formats test guides and procedures.
Handson experience in using hart calibrator process calibrator temperature bath
online analyser dampers mass flow meters thermocouples RTD control valves.
Worked in any of the protocols such as HART BRAIN Foundation Field bus RS
232 RS485 PROFIBUS MODBUS etc.
Review of P&ID Instrument Data sheets Instrument Logic Diagrams Cause and
Effects Instrument Index Interconnection diagrams Instrument block diagrams
Electrical diagrams.
