Job Description
There is an urgent opening in a leading engineering company
Designation: Product Quality Lead (Traction Converter)
Location: Kolkata
Experience: 610 years required preferably Rolling Stock or from Industrial Automation companies working on Traction Converters
Qualification: Diploma (Electrical/ Mechanical)
Responsibilities:
1. MS Project/ SAP PP & Any e QA/QC tools handling knowledge
2. Should know Advance Excel & Skills
3) Extensive experience in quality assurance and quality control preferably in the manufacturing of electrical or electronic for EMU & Metro & 6000/9000HP Locomotive Converter components/systems
4) Strong knowledge of quality management systems standards (e.g. ISO 9001& ISO /TS 22163) and regulatory requirements (e.g. IEC IEEE).
5) Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing FMEA and statistical process control.
6)(Cost of poor Quality) COPQ Identifying and addressing the root causes of Traction converter poor quality improving processes and systems to prevent defects and implementing quality control measures to catch defects before they reach customers.
7)The manager may be responsible for leading a team of QA/QC professionals providing guidance coaching and performance management.
