Fullstack Developer

Position: Fullstack developer / Node type script

Location: Sunnyvale CA

Duration: 12 Months

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in full stack experience to join this team. This handson role requires expert coding skills strong architecture and design deep focus and experience on operational excellence and the ability to guide and mentor a small team of engineers. You will play a critical role in leading designing and developing business and technology initiatives that solve mission critical business problems for Walmart customers.

What youll bring

• 4 years of handson coding experience with NodeJS Typescript
• Fundamental Web development skills (Core understanding of the web services and how things integrate). Cookies headers server to server communication understanding is critical
• Excellent communication interpersonal skills and be able to articulate complex technical concepts in an approachable way for broad audiences.
• Experience in working with GraphQL using NodeJS would be a plus
• Advanced knowledge of complex software design distributed system design design patterns data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent technical debugging and production support skills.
• Experience with monitoring mobile app performance stability success rate and leveraging data to improve the same.
• Improve code quality through writing unit tests automation and performing code reviews.
• Excellent decisionmaking skills with the ability to balance conflicting interests in a complex and fastpaced environment.

What youll do:

Hands on development on building ntier applications using NodeJS TypeScript

Participate in managing code & configurations for multiple environments release management process creating and maintaining environment configuration and controls code integrity and work closely with platform team.

Analyzing business requirements storyboards and similar artifacts of the scrum process work in an agile development environment with a quick turnaround time and iterative builds.

Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design.

Leads the work of other small groups of three to five engineers.

Troubleshoots business and production issues.

Ensures inclusion of business vision and industry trends to enable results that drive business.

Problem solving and troubleshooting design and development issues and provide appropriate solutions.

Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal with technical and nontechnical crossfunctional teams

Provide guidance and mentorship to the junior engineers.

Knowledge of standard tools for optimizing and testing code

A desire to work in a fastpaced and challenging work environment.

Excellent decisionmaking skills with the ability to balance conflicting interests in a complex and fastpaced environment.
