ETL Developer IBM DataStage

Job Title: ETL Developer (IBM DataStage)

Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and implement ETL processes using IBM DataStage to load data from various sources into data warehouses and data marts.
• Collaborate with data architects analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into ETL solutions.
• Perform data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) activities ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Optimize ETL processes for performance reliability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL issues and provide support for production ETL processes.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for ETL processes and workflows.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Monitor ETL jobs and ensure timely completion of data loads.
• Stay current with emerging ETL technologies and trends to ensure the continuous improvement of ETL processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as an ETL Developer with a focus on IBM DataStage.
• Strong knowledge of ETL concepts data integration and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g. Oracle SQL Server DB2).
• Experience with data modeling and data mapping.
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
