Network Architect

Job Title: Network Architect

Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable reliable and secure network architectures.
• Evaluate and recommend network hardware and software solutions.
• Configure and optimize network servers routers switches and other equipment.
• Ensure network performance through regular monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with IT staff and other departments to identify and meet networking needs.
• Develop and enforce network policies and procedures.
• Perform network capacity planning and maintain network documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in network architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Computer Network Architect or similar role.
• Indepth knowledge of network protocols systems and standards (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP OSPF BGP).
• Experience with network hardware (e.g. Cisco Juniper) and software (e.g. firewalls VPNs).
• Proficiency in network design implementation and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNP CCDP CCIE) are a plus.
