Position: Material Handler II
Location: Bothell WA 98021
Duration: 12 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Shift Timings: Monday to Friday 06:00 AM to 02:30
Summary
  • A primary focus of the Material Handler II is to manage inventory and to support production by providing necessary parts and materials to Manufacturing Applications and Engineering personnel.
  • The position closely works with the various functions to locate parts and materials and to kit work orders promptly to build products for shipment to customers and meet production target dates.
  • The Material Handler II is also responsible for monitoring inventory levels and notifying supervisors and buyers of part shortages or low stock levels requiring replenishment.
  • The position will also assist with receiving incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Kit work orders for Manufacturing according to the priority set by the Supervisor or Operations Manager to meet product shipment dates
  • Report part shortages and low stock levels for timely ordering and replenishment
  • Inventory Management through performing routine cycle counts.
  • Receives incoming deliveries against purchase orders and checks them for accuracy
  • Assists with packing and labeling according to SOP and work instructions.
  • Brings Practical Process Improvement (PPI) thinking to assignments to continuously drive improvement
  • Practices good housekeeping and keeps inventory neat clean and orderly
  • Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods (involving walking stooping bending and reaching) required
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 12 years of experience in an inventory control environment
  • Computer skills especially Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word Outlook etc.)
  • Written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
Skills & Abilities:
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work independently and possess problemsolving abilities
  • Lifts carries pulls and pushes up to 20 60 pounds frequently
  • Fast pace work
  • Communicate openly in a team environment
