- Position Title: Programmer Analyst/End User Support
- Contract or Perm: Contract at least 1 year
- Biggest challenge filling the role:
- Someone with experience in the weigh/scale software

- Work Hours (ex. 40 hrs/week & 95): 7am 3pm EST
- Location (add address): 100 Remote
- Start up training needs to be in Pittsburgh for 2 weeks not consecutive weeks can be spread out
- Quarterly travel expected to Pittsbugh maybe some go live training will cause occasional travel
- Must be EST / CST

Day to Day |
- Support users with bill of waiting any documentation needed
- creation of new drivers & vehicles in APex
- set up a new plant/shipping point
- mass loads for new data (apex data replication)
- Creating paperwork
- Supporting driver and vehicle creation for instance loading vehicles and drivers
- Configuration and mass loads for new installations
- Narrow scope get the truck on the scale create a new shipping point mass uploads of Vehicles.
- Technical Super User re creating SQL queries acquisitions etc.

- Supporting the Alkon Apex system Similar tech BulkSource HaulHaub Truck IT App
- Team is moving to S4 so the individual who is doing this work is moving teams
- End user support for the Apex ticketing module in a logistics industry

- Basic SQL Knowledge
- Super User User Support / Training a new user in the Truck Ticketing System

Requirements:
- User support experience (50% of time)
- Ticketing screen errors
- Application troubleshooting
- (We have a brief support manual with common issues)
- MS SQL Server DB developer & admin experience
- Be able to add fields to tables debug write and run SQL queries
- Disaster recovery support
- MS SQL Server Information Services (SSIS)
- MS SQL server reporting services (SSRS)
- Apex Ticketing Module (from Command Alkon) experience for specific truck scales support
- Creating paperwork
- Supporting driver and vehicle creation
- For instance loading vehicles and drivers
- Configuration and mass loads for new installations
- Knowledge of BOL / Packing slip use and requirements
- Experience supporting ATKs (All Terrain Kiosk)
- Apex data replication
- Crystal Reports used for Apex reporting
Nice to have:
- Experience with serial scales & Model View Controller (MVC)
- Development using multiple languages specifically .Net and C# (for proprietary truck ticketing web interface)
- .Net forms applications (Brazil custom vehicles management)
- Windows IIS support and administration (certificate support basic updates)
