Summary:

The Metropolitan Area Planning Council is seeking a temporary Data Entry Specialist to transfer nutrition education program records from one online database to another. The ideal candidate can complete data entry tasks efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Transfer records from an online database (Airtable) to an online data collection platform primarily using copy and paste.
• Handle approximately 1500 records each with around 100 unique attributes such as location participants and topic area.
• Identify and document any issues that arise during record transfers.
• Communicate issues and progress using email and Slack.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated proficiency in data entry or related positions.
• Strong computer skills with experience in:
  • At least one of the following browsers: Google Chrome Firefox or Safari.
  • Digital communication tools such as Microsoft Outlook and Slack.
  • Airtable (Preferred but not required).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
