Job Description

Our client a thriving and wellrespected independent girls school in West London is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their dynamic department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented educator to play a key role in fostering a love of learning and developing the mathematical abilities of bright young women.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and stimulating Maths lessons across the curriculum from Year 7 to A Level.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Maths and relevant examination specifications.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Employ a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum and departmental resources.
  • Play an active role in the wider school community including extracurricular activities and pastoral care.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Maths or a relevant subject.
  • Possesses a minimum of 3 years successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrates a proven track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.
  • Has a passion for Maths and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and engaging lessons.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.
