As a Business Development Manager at Carbiz you will be responsible for building and fostering strategic relationships with our prospective clients and stakeholders within the Adelaide region. This is a great opportunity for those looking to further their career in sales within a dynamic awardwinning team with uncapped earning potential!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Sales Business Development Executives and Partnership Success Managers to identify target and develop new relationships within your allocated geographical area.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Schedule and conduct facetoface meetings with clients within your geographical location.
  • Inform and educate referrers on initiatives procedures and points of difference.
  • Log detailed activity visits and relevant commentary to ensure accurate reporting and review of business.
  • Manage new clients and ensure a seamless handover to Partnership Success Managers.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and competitor activities to anticipate new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Over 3 years of experience in facetoface/fieldbased Sales Account Management or Business Development preferred but not essential (we hire based on attitude!).
  • Valid drivers license and the ability to travel locally as required (Essential).
  • Proven experience fostering longterm relationships and service with customers and/or clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and partnershipbuilding skills.
  • Welldeveloped verbal communication problemsolving and conflict resolution skills.
  • A positive cando attitude with a willingness to assist team members to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
