Job Description

As the Field HR Manager you are responsible for overseeing HR operations in our Salon Spa locations acting as a liaison between the corporate HR department and the field teams to ensure alignment with company objectives. In this newly created role you will travel to our locations to build relationships and strategically partner with operations to enrich our team member experience through engagement retention recognition on/offboarding communication talent management (employee relations succession planning) policy administration training and compliance. This role reports directly to the SVP People & Culture.

Here are some highlights of what you will be doing in this role:

Culture Champion:

  • Enhance team member experience through engagement retention and recognition programs.
  • Foster an inclusive working environment that celebrates diversity through strong communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct roundtables provide feedback and identify industry trends.

Employee Relations:

  • Address team member concerns and grievances promptly.
  • Conduct investigations and recommend resolutions.
  • Provide HR support and coaching at field locations.

Talent Management:

  • Develop and implement performance evaluations and career development plans.
  • Support team member retention through recognition programs.

Communication/Training:

  • Oversee HRrelated communications and program deployments.
  • Create and present HR content at monthly meetings.
  • Deliver and monitor training programs to enhance team skills.
  • Partner with corporate HR on surveys and action planning.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Educate team members on benefits and assist with enrollment processes.
  • Support leave of absence and accommodation requests
  • Coordinate with HR Generalist on unemployment claims.

HR Policy Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and labor laws.
  • Conduct compliance audits and recommend corrective actions.
  • Analyze HR data and present metrics.

Here are some of the skills that we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in Human Resources
  • Multiunit multistate experience is preferred.
  • Bachelors degree and/or proven experience in a similar role; HR Certification is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations and keep current to ensure compliance.
  • Experience in coordinating responses with various government agencies (i.e. EEOC DOL).
  • Superior ability to coach and counsel managers on various employee relations matters.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to align rewards with business objectives and foster team member engagement.
  • Highly skilled in building relationships and connecting and communicating with all levels of team members across the organization.
  • Excellent problemsolving ability conflict resolution skills attention to detail and the ability to think critically.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and privacy.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor representing the Tricoci brand with pride.
  • Ability to travel locally (in IL) to our various Salon Spa locations.
