Role – Regional Internal Sales Team Leader
Location: Oldbury West Midlands
Salary: £35000 – £45000 plus a generous and highly competitive bonus and benefits package

Flowtech is the UK's largest distributor in the hydraulic pneumatic industrial and process sectors. With over 180000 products Flowtech also offers technical & engineering services custom designs and assemblies. We are seeking an ambitious and hardworking individual to join our team as an Internal Team Leader during this exciting time of growth.
Purpose of the Role:
To drive and deliver profitable sales by maximizing every opportunity that comes into the business. Leading inspiring and managing a team of regional internal team sales representatives to achieve success.
The successful candidate will be committed to developing their career in a progressive yet nurturing UK based organisation. You will play a significant role in the business at the heart of the Sales and Customer Service function contributing to the broader goals of the overall team at Flowtech. You should be comfortable in all aspects of selling and crossselling with an eye for spotting opportunities but crucially possess a genuine desire to help customers solve their problems. This is a handson and exciting and diverse role which will really call upon your excellent interpersonal skills and commercial acumen.
You will be supported a structured training and development plan incorporating both onthejob learning as well as external development and one to one mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading and Support the Team: Acting as the first port of call for Internal Sales Support Team members with responsibility for Sales Customer Service and Technical functions.
Sales Practice – Instilling and leading by example a set of good sales disciplines to fit in with a strong sales ethos.
Opportunity Qualification: Coach team members to effectively quote potential opportunities.
Commercial Mindset: Instil a focus on qualification upselling crossselling and development of the Flowtech brand.
Sales Leadership: Direct activity across sales customer service and technical functions to meet targets and inspire commercial success.
Process Improvement: Identify and promote opportunities to enhance internal processes.
Performance Reporting: Produce and utilize reports to increase team performance and achieve KPIs.
Customer Engagement: Work closely with Customer Services to improve satisfaction and lead by example in delivering exceptional service.
Sales Analytics: Use analytics to highlight sales opportunities and ensure followup.
Collaboration: Engage crossfunctionally to drive beneficial outcomes for the business.
Personal Development: Create and implement personal development plans for each team member.
The Individual
Minimum of 5 year’s sales experience including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role –(Team Leader or Sales Manager)
Good understanding of recognised sales disciplines and sales ethos and their practical application
Excellent and proven people management skills
Strong commercial acumen
Excellent rapport building and listening skills
Highly organised and efficient
Strong questioning and qualifying skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Comfortable talking to customers
Resilient and Tenacious
Experience in fluid power would be desirable but is not essential
