Reporting directly to the CIO the Data Analyst is responsible for collecting processing and analyzing data to help guide our decisionmaking processes. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs provide detailed analysis and deliver insightful reports. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills proficiency in data analysis tools and the ability to translate complex data into understandable and actionable information.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends patterns and insights.
• Develop and maintain databases data systems and data collection processes.
• Interpret data analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
• Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to present data in an easily understandable format.
• Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Identify and recommend process improvements based on data analysis.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and findings to management and other stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest data analysis trends techniques and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics Mathematics or Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience/certification.
• Two (2) years of experience within data analysis.
• Understanding bestpractice enterprise data analysis and procedures across a variety of areas.
• Translating business and user needs into data approaches and reporting.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Birst).
• Writing and evaluating queries.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Testing and evaluating multiple solutions methods and models to determine accuracy validity and applicability.
• Working with customers to prioritize needs timelines and expectations.
• Establishing standards approaches and credibility for leveraging and interpreting data.
• Identifying analyzing and resolving data problems failures or issues.
• Working cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Working independently on assigned tasks and manage time to meet deadlines.
• Written oral and interpersonal communication skills required to provide effective technical user support.
• Communication and interpersonal skills required to provide technical leadership and training to other staff.
• Skill in using computer Microsoft Office (i.e. Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) webbased tools and business systems.

Location: This position is located onsite in Panama City FL or Pine Bluff AR.
