Were on the hunt for Principal Software Engineer to join our innovative fully remote team! While we prefer individuals in the Eastern Standard Time zone were open to candidates across all US time zones who are ready to start immediately or with a short lead time.
An experienced Senior / Principal Software Engineer with a minimum of 9 years of handson expertise in React JS Node.Js ORM. WebSockets WebRTC System Design Multithreading and Data Structures GraphQL.
A master of scalable environments particularly in realtime chat and video streaming solutions.
Someone who has successfully designed and scaled systems capable of handling realtime chat and video streaming ideally with a capacity of handling 10000 to 100000 requests per second (RPS).
Position: Principal Software Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (USA)
Experience5 years
Skills required : Heavy and Node.js React JS ObjectRelational Mapping WebSockets WebRTC GraphQL Multithreading Concurrency Data Structures and Algorithms System Design Scalability (10k RPM and upto 100k RPM and above with realtime chat and video building) Extensive fullstack proficiency with a strong emphasis on backend development.
Familiarity with video streaming technologies (HLS DASH RTMP) or codecs such as H.264 HEVC and AV & Familiarity with Android media and graphics including MediaCodec MediaProjection and SurfaceView

In this role youll be a technical leader architecting designing and implementing realtime systems for our hightraffic live stream platform. Youll collaborate closely with a small team juggling multiple priorities and taking ownership to make things happen.
Develop our video playback/broadcast experience for iOS and Android devices
Collaborate with backend video teams that support realtime and low latency media broadcasting and playback. Add reliable crossplatform unit integration and e2e tests
Keep abreast of current technologies and recent developments in mobile and media technologies.
You are:
A highly skilled software engineer with 5 years of full stack experience weighted heavily towards backend development.

An architect at heart with a proven track record of building scalable systems that can handle with a minimum 10k requests per second upto 100k RPS atleast
A React.js with Node.js and Next.js with Redis who is expert with strong experience in GraphQL and ObjectRelational Mappers (ORMs).
Wellversed in websockets and comfortable architecting coding and utilizing TestDriven Development (TDD) practices.
A datadriven problem solver who thrives in a structured processoriented environment.
Excited to help build something new and define the future of live commerce.
Responsibilities:
Architect micro systems and build real time systems design and implement a scalable realtime system for our live stream platform with numerous WebSocket events for realtime user updates.
Contribute to product development by leading the backend efforts for our live stream commerce platform.
Continuously monitor system performance identify bottlenecks and implement improvements for optimal stability.
Research and propose innovative ways to enhance various system aspects.
Collaborate with frontend and mobile engineers to ensure seamless integration.
Lead the development and architecture of microservices and realtime systems.
