ServiceNow Engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within ServiceNow platform.
• Design develop and customize ServiceNow applications modules and workflows based on best practices and industry standards.
• Configure and manage the ServiceNow platform including core ITSM modules CMDB Service Catalog Incident Problem and Change Management.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other thirdparty systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow platform identifying and resolving technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of ServiceNow upgrades and patches ensuring system stability and security.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications test plans and operational procedures.
• Lead and participate in ServiceNowrelated projects following project management methodologies to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization to ensure the ServiceNow platform operates at peak efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features functionalities and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
• Minimum of X years of experience in ServiceNow platform development customization and implementation.
• Proven expertise in JavaScript HTML CSS and other scripting languages for ServiceNow.
• Indepth knowledge of core ITSM processes including Incident Management Problem Management and Change Management.
• Experience in ServiceNow CMDB configuration and management ensuring accurate and reliable data for IT operations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating ServiceNow with external systems and applications using web services REST APIs and MID Servers.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture components and security controls.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex ServiceNow technical issues.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
• Project management experience and proficiency with Agile or ITIL methodologies.
• Capability to work in a fastpaced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Passion for continuous learning and professional development in ServiceNow and related technologies.
