Mechanical Engineer

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support one of our clients who are aleading renewable energy solutions provider.

Main Responsibilities:

• Continuously improve and optimize the operating system.
• Monitor onsite quality perform inspections ensure contractor compliance with the Project Quality Plan and close out punch lists while coordinating with Contractor Construction Supervisors and Engineers.
• Demonstrate strong attention to documentation ensuring timely creation of a Quality Dossier and a Technical Take Over Data Package from the start of construction updating the Share Drive regularly in line with project progress.
• Proactively engage with contractors supervisors to optimize daily progress and inspections ensuring compliance with the Project Plan at all times.
• Follow up on open punches during commissioning and mechanical completion sign off on closed punches by suppliers and participate in Site Acceptance Tests.
• Ensure all inspection equipment registers calibrations and certificates are managed and current.
• Pay special attention to hidden works control process testing and materials used utilizing Mechanical Check Lists.
• Ensure all Red Line Single Line diagrams and asbuilt drawings are complete reviewed signed off and uploaded until mechanical completion is achieved.
• Confirm that all PreCommissioning Site Acceptance Testing is completed signed off and compliant with the Operation & Maintenance Manual and requirements.
• Support in resolving issues identified during operations.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• BE Mechanical Engineering from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistanrecognized university.
• Valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC Registered Number).
• 5 years experience in largescale projects.
• Competent in navigating and applying Quality Management Systems.
• Preference given to candidates with QMSqualification.
• Good understanding of utility interfaces and stakeholders.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Fluent in English both spoken and written (additional languages are a plus).
• Adaptable to changing environments and quick to meet new challenges.
