Technical Team Lead

As a Technical Team Lead you will not only work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the successful delivery of software projects but also play a pivotal role in engaging with clients. Your ability to upsell services understand customer business and build strong relationships will be crucial to our mutual success.

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for upselling our services
• Collaborate and Translate: Work with product managers designers and developers to understand project requirements and convert them into efficient and welldesigned code
• Develop and Maintain: Create and maintain business logic while ensuring high performance responsiveness and scalability of the systems
• Code Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality maintainability and adherence to coding standards
• Problem Solving: Debug and resolve technical issues addressing bottlenecks and bugs.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices to continuously enhance development processes
• Technical Documentation: Write clear and comprehensive technical documentation
• Team collaboration: Guide a team of developers making them feel involved nurtured and empowered

What You Bring to birkle IT

• Experience and Expertise: 5 years of software development experience in Java and/or Node.js with proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring Boot Hibernate etc.)
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g. React Angular or Vue) and integration with backend services experience with relational database systems (e.g. PostgreSQL etc.) and data modeling
• Methodologies and Tools: Knowledge of software development methodologies and version control systems (Git Bitbucket)
• CustomerFocused Mindset: Strong problemsolving skills the ability to work independently and as part of a team excellent English communication skills and a collaborative mindset with advanced social and communication skills to effectively engage with clients understand their business and identify upselling opportunities

Nice to Have

• Additional Technical Skills: Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes) knowledge of microservices architecture and OpenShift experience with Kafka for realtime data streaming and Elasticsearch for data storage and retrieval certification in Java programming or related technologies and experience with Kibana for application performance monitoring.
