Apache Nifi Platform Engineer

Role:
Setup Apache Nifi instances in Azure and on premises according to stated architecture and integrate instances with current CI/CD process logging solution IAM and other supporting administrative systems Create Development Test Acceptance and Production environments. Create reusable deployment scripts using principals of Infrastructure as code Instances will be both in Azure cloud and onpremises with secure SiteToSite communication inbetween Instances deployment is on VMs and in Kubernetes cluster Integrate instances with operations and maintenance processes and administrative tools The deployment environment needs to be documented in detail along with Operation and Maintenance documentation. Provide training of internal resources on the Apache Nifi platform. Perform handover to trained resources.

Essential requirements:
More than 3 years of operations and maintenance experience with Apache product suite especially Nifi and Kafka
More than 3 years of experience with Nifi ecosystem (MiNiFi Nifi Registry Ranger Zookeeper)
More than 3 years of experience within integration and building integrations with Apache Nifi
More than 3 years of operations and maintenance experience with Linux (Redhat)
More than 3 years with Azure infrastructure experience
More then 3 years of CI/CD experience with Git
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Meritorious
Understanding of infrastructure in both Azure and onpremises
Understanding of Open Telemetry
Experience with Open Source Apache Nifi and vendor supplied Nifi from Cloudera and others
Understanding Tenant concept and its secure implementation with Apache Nifi.
Kubernetes and Nifi container deployment
Experience from Utility business sector
