Indirect Purchasing Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated student trainee to join our dynamic Indirect Procurement team. In this role you will gain valuable handson experience in the procurement process working alongside experienced professionals. You will have the opportunity to contribute to realworld projects while developing the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in procurement.

If you think youll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards:

• Assist with the procurement cycle by identifying needs and managing purchase orders particularly focusing on optimizing processes below the minimum threshold and improving longtail order management.
• Utilize data analysis tools to identify costsaving opportunities within the procurement processes.
• Gain experience with ACLM software for managing supplier contracts learning best practices for supplier onboarding document management and contract review.
• Get exposure to strategic sourcing principles and methodologies including information gathering term documentation and negotiation preparation.
• Conduct research on the European warehouse market analyzing potential locations based on distance and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Develop skills to identify potential warehouses and assess their benefits and risks.
• Participate in team meetings and presentations actively contributing and developing communication and collaboration skills.

and if you have/are:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills. Interest in the automotive safety systems industry (a plus).
