Equipment Engineer

Tasks

• Attends and participates in project preparation meetings.
• Advises the project on the correct use of the project equipment.
• Can modify equipment on project demand arranging/managing the required maintenance.
• Attends equipment (FAT) tests at manufacturer premises.
• First point of contact for vessel crew and Project Manager in case of equipment breakdowns.
• Willing to travel and work outside normal office hours.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a technical subject
• 35 years of working experience in a similar role
• Demonstrates good decisionmaking skills and responds proactively to problems/issues
• Is risk focused and demonstrates effective forward planning
• Delivers under pressure flexible to adapt to the changing needs of business and manage competing deadlines
• Solutions based with excellent planning and organisation skills approaches tasks in a structural and methodical manner
