Chief Officer - 50M

Our client is looking for an experienced 1st Mate/Officer to join a team of 9 crew on a private motor yacht based in Palma.

The ideal candidate will be confident in their role organized a good team player with a friendly outgoing personality.

Tasks

• Lead the deck department and manage bridge activities.
• Ensure the yachts operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Perform watchkeeping duties with diligence.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Uphold safety and security protocols with a strong knowledge of ISM/ISPS standards.
• Navigate effectively and responsibly.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role on yachts.
• Good watchkeeping abilities.
• Proven knowledge of ISM/ISPS protocols.
• Professional appearance with no visible tattoos.
• Fluent in English.
• Qualifications: commercially endorsed Yacht Master fully updated STCW with PSA/PDSD valid Seafarers Medical Certificate and Seamans Discharge Book.
• Preference for candidates currently in Europe though others will be considered.
