Our client is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team!

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a software engineer for the High Performance Computing Group you’ll be a member of a cross functional team developing and supporting mission applications.

• Advanced computing software hardware
• Embedded or systems development and fielding; sustainment and lifecycle support
• Strong and diverse working knowledge of software languages hardware and industry best practices
• Advanced mathematics / physics; a track record of excellent team dynamics development and relevant technical contributions

• Technical and problemsolving skills in advanced computing systems hardware software mathematics physics or endmission applications and support with an understanding of how those capabilities fit into the bigger product / service offering.
• Expertise in applying technology and technical skills to solve challenges in creative ways.
• Experience digging into hardware specifications and leveraging hardware interfaces in the composition of lowlevel software solutions.
• Energized by the diverse software and computer engineering problem sets of HPC.
• A willing and effective collaborator with team members customers and general technical counterparts.
• Knowledge of general programming principles and optimization strategies with previous experience in Assembly C/C Python Rust Embedded Linux or others.
• Development and testing skills in High Performance Computing applications or advanced computing / embedded systems.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.

Education Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related Science Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of jobrelated experience or a Master's degree plus 3 years of jobrelated experience. Agile experience preferred.

Clearance Requirements:
Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities U.S. citizenship is required.
