Job Description
Seeking experienced CNC Machinists with strong technical skills and abilities who have worked in a machine shop or industrial manufacturing environment. Must have at least 3 years of experience and steel fabrication experience is highly preferred.
Job Duties:
Job Duties:
- Operate CNC machines manual lathes and boring mills to produce quality parts that meet design specifications; load materials set offsets perform edits debur and inspect finished products to ensure accuracy.
- Read and interpret technical drawings manuals and part specifications to ensure correct dimensions tolerances and machining sequences; identify and resolve equipment malfunctions or outoftolerance issues.
- Use forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and equipment as needed ensuring safe handling and adherence to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors engineers quality control and safety personnel to address quality concerns and machining issues.
- Maintain compliance with 5S standards for workplace organization and cleanliness; perform other related duties as assigned.
- 3 5 years of recent machine shop experience specifically in a CNC Machinist role.
- CNC Operator experience is not sufficient for what is technically required in the CNC Machinist role at Superior Industries.
- Steel fabrication experience is preferred.
- Computer literacy.
- Able to communicate well and excel in a team environment.
