BIM Consultant Engineering Sector

Our Technology & Methods competence center is responsible for the implementation and support of technologies and products used within the company. Key words for our team are innovation implementation and support. Through crossfunctional collaboration between different competence centers and project teams (composed of various technical disciplines) we continuously improve our common project approach as well as the knowledge and experiences applied.

You will join the Methods competence center (comprising 510 members) which is responsible for supporting personnel processes and technologies. The team also focuses on interdisciplinary collaboration between competence centers and establishing standards. Our BIMfocused team is dedicated to a comprehensive transformation towards an integrated BIM approach grounded in practical fieldsupported methodologies.

Tasks

• Analyze applied techniques identify interfaces between them and create and optimize project processes in cocreation with competence centers.
• Implement new technologies and methodologies guiding project teams and competence centers to better apply BIM principles thus impacting project efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Update technologies and methods as needed.
• Implement and support teams in their use of new techniques and products.
• Analyze disciplines define requirements identify interfaces and consolidate everything into optimized new solutions.
• Monitor follow and adapt existing processes.
• Document solutions and communicate them to teams.
• Support colleagues on projects within the company.
• Contribute to the content and realization of the BIM roadmap.
• Analyze problems to propose feasible solutions considering budget timing and other constraints.
• Work in diverse teams formed according to project scope and commit to their success (Project Delivery Civil & Track Electrification Signaling Logistics & Supply Procurement).
• Report progress and results to stakeholders.
• The work schedule for this position can be adjusted based on needs.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Industrial or civil engineering degree.
• Practical knowledge of BIM principles or AEC products and a passion for automation parameterization and IT development (AutoCAD Revit Dynamo Navisworks ACC).
• Experience with BIM implementations or engineering processes.
• Enthusiasm for discovering new technologies and a broad view of future technological developments.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word Excel etc.).
• Knowledge of ISO196501 & 2 is a plus.
• Strong communication precision methodical approach and autonomy.
• Enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to maintain an overview of a wide range of solutions and products and structure them effectively.
• Curiosity and strong client orientation.
• Flexibility and adaptability in changing situations.
• Critical thinking and team spirit.

Languages:

• Proficiency in French or Dutch and working knowledge of the other national language. English is an asset.
