We are looking for a Finance Business Partner in our Finance team to join us on this exciting journey!

Your mission

Our Finance team has played a key role Prewaves journey and we continue to scale were now looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to help us scale our performance reporting. You will work directly with the centralised Finance team located in our HQ in Vienna. As a Finance Business Partner your primary responsibility will be to ensure the financial success of our operations. This will involve working closely with all our departments. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial performance identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to optimise financial outcomes.

As our Finance Business Partner at Prewave you will

• Partner with the Finance Director and department heads to develop and maintain performance metrics dashboards and reporting systems
• You will monitor analyse and communicate key financial and operational performance indicators to the management team for key decisions (including P&L cash flow statements balance sheets and variance analysis)
• Develop and implement robust finance processes and policies that align with the evolving needs of our rapidly growing business.
• Actively communicate key risks and opportunities proposing new approaches
• Collaborate with the management team to develop plans for maximizing profitability reducing costs and increasing revenue
• Lead annual & quarterly budget and forecast exercices with all departments and track performance against budget
• Develop financial models and forecasts to guide longterm planning
• Perform and analyse monthly quarterly and annual financial reports
• Improve monthend close to enable timely reporting of results
• Support rollout of the Accounting ERP system as well as other finance tooling

Your profile

Must haves

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Finance or a related field.
• Extensive experience in finance with a minimum of 78 years working with dedicated FP&A teams in either corporates or a consulting environment
• Demonstrated expertise in business planning financial planning (forecasting/budgeting) and analysis.
• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
• Exceptional communication skills capable of creating clear presentations and conveying complex financial information to nonfinance stakeholders.
• Ability to work with strategic concepts that can propel the company forward or alter its strategic direction.
• Recognized as an excellent communicator.
• Acts as a facilitator of finance within the business ensuring all levels understand how to generate value.
• Valid work permit for EU.

• Well rounded accounting experience in a fast growth scale up.
• Having worked with SaaS businesses in the past.

    According to our collective agreement the minimum salary for this role is EUR 3724 gross per month however the higher packages are likely based on your qualifications and experience.
