Job Title: Freelance SEO Editor
Location: Remote (EST Timezone)
Salary Range: Up to $1200
Work Schedule: Monday Friday 9 AM to 5PM EST (Flexible hours and working days as long as the editor meets deadlines)

Client Overview:

We represent a company looking for an experienced Freelance SEO Editor to assign and edit SEO articles on their websites. This editor has a proven track record of publishing content in English that secures and maintains top positions in Google search results for highvolume mostly U.S.targeted keywords. You will be responsible for building a story from end to end in a content management system (CMS) while adhering to and holding writers accountable to the brands style guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Based on the SEO Editors monthly lineup deliver up to 80 detailed editorial assignments per month includingword original pieces targeting new SEO keywords and updates of topperforming pieces; 20 pieces due per week.
• Edit and optimize SEO articles to meet Googles EEAT criteria as well as The Muses style guidelines revising with the writer and top editor as needed.
• Publish multiple stories a day that are free of typos grammatical errors and inaccuracies ensuring exceptional attention to detail.

Software Requirements:

• Proficiency in Google Docs SEMrush and Google Analytics.

Requirements:

• Established editor with 34 years of editing experience particularly with SEO content.
• Proven track record of success in publishing content that ranks highly in Google search results for highvolume U.S.targeted keywords.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and Googles EEAT criteria.
• Comfortable with content management systems (CMS).
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to highquality work.
• Ability to manage multiple stories a day and meet deadlines.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with writers and top editors.
• Comfortable working in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
