• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM (2 Positions)
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM (2 Positions)

Job Description for LPN (16 Weeks)

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at Complex Neurological Care in Goldsboro NC. This is a 16week assignment with the potential for extension based on performance and facility needs.

Responsibilities:

• Record a patients medical history accurately.
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure temperature heart rate etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and side effects of medications.
• Monitor patients conditions including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts.
• Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating bathing etc.
• Administer injections prescribed medications enemas clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Proven experience as an LPN preferably in a neurological care setting.
• Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members.
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
