Job Description:

• The professional nurse providing care to medical/surgical patients utilizing all components of the nursing process (assesses develops plans implements and evaluates) in the plan of care.
• Must assess and identify patient problems/needs
• Will establish a plan of care implement interventions and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress
• Responsible for assisting supporting and educating patients
• Use EMR for documents
• Read vital signs and provide injections/vaccinations
• Float to ICU which is just a more acute need unit
