T-SQL Database Developer

Job Title: TSQL Database Developer

Location: Mechanicsburg PA (Onsite) Need local candidates

Responsibilities

• Designs develops and maintains database code objects including coding for TSQL stored procedures and views in cooperation with application developers and in accordance with database standards and best practices.
• Designs develops and maintains database code scripts to validate or maintain data external to the application.
• Manages and performs detailed testing of database objects and scripts; performs code reviews.
• Writes and maintains specifications and documentation for database objects and scripts.
• Contributes to the design of the data model for application modifications/enhancements.
• Identifies TSQL code performance issues and optimizes TSQL code for performance.
• Participates (with a team of six) in an oncall weekly rotation to provide support for critical systems outside regular working hours.

Required experience includes:

• 58 years of TSQL database development experience.
• Must have strong exprience with TSQL scripts stored procedures functions triggers and queries.
• Extensive experience in clientserver application development using TSQL for coding stored procedures and database scripts.
• Must have good understanding of relational database concepts required.
• Advanced working knowledge of SAP (formerly Sybase) Adaptive Server Enterprise preferred.
