Overview
The parttime Radiologist MD/DNB plays a crucial role in providing highquality medical imaging and interpretations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position is integral to the healthcare facility ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic services.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging studies such as Xrays MRIs CT scans and ultrasounds
- Providing accurate and timely medical interpretations of imaging studies
- Collaborating with other medical professionals to discuss patient cases and treatment plans
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards in diagnostic imaging
- Assisting in the supervision and training of technical staff in radiology procedures
- Participating in departmental meetings and continuing education activities
- Communicating effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns
- Utilizing electronic medical record systems to document interpretations and maintain patient records
- Remaining abreast of advancements in diagnostic imaging technology and practices
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Radiology
- Valid medical license and board certification in Radiology
- Proven experience in interpreting medical imaging studies and providing accurate diagnoses
- Strong understanding of radiology procedures and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary medical team
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining highquality patient care
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and imaging software
