Fitter-Mechanical

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and schematics to plan assembly procedures
• Assemble mechanical components and equipment according to specifications
• Perform fitting and alignment of parts using hand and power tools
• Inspect and test completed installations for proper functioning
• Adjust and calibrate machinery to ensure proper performance
• Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical systems
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure project success
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Document work performed including parts used and time spent

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a FitterMechanical or similar role
• Technical or vocational training in mechanical fitting or a related field
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and processes
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Excellent problemsolving skills
• Attention to detail and precision in work
• Physical strength and stamina to handle manual tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
