Job Title: RN CVICUPeds
Location: Austin TX 78723
Shift Details:
- Hours: 12hour shifts three days per week
- Schedule: 18:45 to 07:15
- Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Salary:
- NonLocal Pay Rate: $57.43/hr.
- Taxable Wage: $42.93/hr.
- Per Diem: $14.50/hr.
- Reward: $7.40/hr.
- Local Pay Rate (within 75 miles): $45.95/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
- Perform patient assessments administer medications and implement treatment plans as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient conditions vital signs and responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Educate patients families on medical conditions treatments and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay current with pediatric CVICU nursing best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Texas.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in a pediatric CVICU or critical care setting preferred.
- Skills:

- Ability to work effectively in a highstress fastpaced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods lift and move patients and equipment and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
