Job Description
Title: Registered Dietician
Pay Rate: $1850/ week on W2
Start Date: 07/15/2024
Location available: New York NY 10044 and Bronx NY 10451
Shift: 9A 5P 5 x8
Certifications/License: AHA BLS RD License
Skills: 2 years of experience is required
Education: Bachelors Degree
Duration: 13 weeks initial duration with strong extension potential
Duties:
- Conducts nutrition consultations.
- Keeps detailed patient records.
- Helps patients set and reach their health goals.
- Advises patients on healthy nutrition practices.
- Develops customized meal plans and grocery lists.
- Meets with patients regularly to track their progress.
- Uses common practice management software.
- Handles scheduling and billing when needed.
- Uploads electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborates with a patients doctors and nurses.
- Stays up to date on nutrition research.
- Follows the organizations policies and procedures.
Adheres to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics guidelines.
