Job Description

Filinvest Hotel: QUEST HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTER CEBU

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement process by sourcing evaluating and selecting suppliers to meet the hotels requirements.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and budget constraints.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases suppliers and pricing information.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Coordinate with various departments within the hotel to understand their needs and ensure these are met through appropriate procurement strategies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to avoid shortages and overstock situations.
  • Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends and supplier options.
  • Assist in resolving any issues related to orders such as discrepancies in quantity or quality and ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Support the Purchasing Manager in preparing reports and analyzing data to identify areas for costsaving opportunities and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).
  • Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems is a plus.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Amenable to work in Cebu City.
