Accounts Payable Specialist

Duration:3 months contract with possible extension

Location: Washington DC 20065 (District of ColumbiaViginia and Maryland (DMV) Candidates only (100% remote)))

Job Description:

Purpose:

• Perform Treasury Operations: research and post payments void/reissue payments and handle daily operations.

Essential Functions:

• 50% Error Handling: Review correct and apply error report data. Collaborate with Billing and Finance. Ensure internal controls.
• 45% Payment Processing: Research void/stop and reissue payments. Ensure timely responses and maintain internal controls.
• 5% Other Tasks: Perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: 34 years in bookkeeping data entry or relevant work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge: Basic bookkeeping banking practices
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) excellent communication detailoriented

Requirements:

• Work in a fastpaced environment manage multiple priorities and deadlines and provide excellent customer service.
