PHP Reactjs Engineering Manager

Overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead mentor and manage a team of PHP and React.js developers to deliver highquality scalable and efficient code.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features and modules.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure best practices in PHP and React.js development including code reviews architectural decisions and performance optimization.
• Drive the adoption of industry best practices standards and processes for PHP and React.js development including continuous integration continuous deployment and agile methodologies.
• Manage the overall software development lifecycle from planning and designing to implementation testing and deployment.
• Participate in the recruitment onboarding and professional development of engineering team members.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand requirements provide technical insights and influence product roadmap decisions.
• Proactively identify and address technical challenges risks and opportunities to optimize development processes and deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in PHP and React.js development to drive innovation and efficiency within the team.
• Ensure the delivery of highquality welldocumented and maintainable code.
• Contribute to technical architecture discussions and decisions.
• Participate in performance evaluations goal setting and career development discussions with team members.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and across departments.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement learning and innovation within the engineering team.

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Proven experience in PHP and React.js development with a deep understanding of best practices design patterns and development frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in engineering management or team leadership preferably in a software development environment.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies including Scrum Kanban and lean principles.
• Experience in implementing and managing scalable highperformance web applications using PHP and React.js.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies such as HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript and their interactions with PHP and React.js.
• Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle source control and deployment strategies.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in building and leading highperforming engineering teams.
• Relevant certifications in PHP and React.js development or engineering management is a plus.
• Passion for technology and a desire to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
