Overview

Key responsibilities

• Designing and implementing software of embedded devices and systems.
• Designing developing testing and debugging embedded systems and software.
• Integrating and validating new product designs.
• Creating lowlevel code for managing hardware and peripherals.
• Collaborating with hardware design engineers to evaluate interface between hardware and software.
• Participating in code and design reviews.
• Analyzing and enhancing efficiency stability and scalability of system resources.
• Developing and executing testing and validation plans.
• Documenting design and testing procedures.
• Providing technical support to internal teams and customers.
• Staying uptodate with industry trends and advancements in embedded systems.
• Identifying and resolving software and hardware interface issues.
• Supporting the generation of technical documentation and reports.
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to achieve project goals.

Required qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in embedded systems design and development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C.
• Experience with microcontrollers microprocessors and other hardware components.
• Familiarity with realtime operating systems (RTOS).
• Strong understanding of debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems.
• Knowledge of hardware and software integration.
• Experience with version control and collaborative development tools.
• Ability to work with hardware schematic diagrams and datasheets.
• Experience with communication protocols such as SPI I2C UART and CAN.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and processes.
