Overview:
As a Gynaecologist Consultant (MD/MS/DGO) you will play a crucial role in providing specialized medical care to patients focusing on their reproductive health and wellness. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gynaecological conditions and providing comprehensive care during pregnancy and childbirth. You will also be responsible for conducting surgical procedures related to gynaecology and obstetrics ensuring the wellbeing of your patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat gynaecological disorders and conditions
- Provide prenatal care and manage highrisk pregnancies
- Perform gynaecological surgeries such as hysterectomies and laparoscopies
- Conduct regular screenings for cervical and breast cancer
- Offer contraceptive counseling and family planning services
- Manage menopausal and postmenopausal health concerns
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated with the latest developments in gynaecology and women s health
- Participate in research and contribute to medical literature
- Provide guidance and mentorship to medical students and residents
Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD/MS/DGO) with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Board certification in Gynaecology or relevant specialty
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration
- Proven experience as a Gynaecologist Consultant preferably in a hospital setting
- Demonstrated expertise in gynaecological surgeries and procedures
- Strong diagnostic and decisionmaking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
