Senior PCB Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated member to join our Electrical Hardware Team keen to contribute to the productization of Dufours inhouse Avionics & Powertrain suite. The operation of our fleet of prototype aircraft enabled us to build custom solutions for most of the core equipment. We are convinced that further maturing these designs and soon seeing them populate the skies is a cause worth joining us in this endeavor.

This role focuses on iterating existing designs with a focus on manufacturing EMC weight and cost optimization. An outofthebox mentality is desired and the initiative to question the status quo is welcome.

As a part of the team you will work at the forefront of cuttingedge technology and you will directly contribute to the advancement of automated hybridelectric flight.

Tasks

• develop and improve inhouse Avionics
• PCB design work (schematic layout)
• conduct & support internal design reviews (component library schematics layout)
• prototype & test new equipment (functionality EMC integration)
• support Flight Test during commissioning
• ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies

Requirements

required:

• professional background in Electrical Engineering
• industry experience of 5 years
• experience in circuit and PCB development
• handson experience with Laboratory Equipment
• structured and analytical thinking
• allowed to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA)

advantageous:

• experience in working with Altium (PCB CAD)
• experience with EMC norms & testing procedures
• programming experience in C/C
• professional background in the automotive or aerospace sector
