Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated member to join our EWIS Team keen to learn and contribute in a dynamic environment. In this role you will help bring everything together interfacing with many different disciplines from within the company. EWIS (electrical wiring interconnect system) represents the source of truth in our manufacturing process meaning attention to detail is critical.

On a daily basis you will focus on these main areas: Working on the wiring diagram to establish all connections between the individual systems providing manufacturing drawings for internal or external production of harnesses and working on the 3D representation in CAD for mechanical integration. Apart from design work you will spend time on the hangar floor checking equipment and supporting prototype manufacturing.

As a part of the team you will work at the forefront of cuttingedge technology and will directly contribute to the advancement of automated hybridelectric flight.

Tasks

  • support the design and interface requirements of EWIS (electrical wiring interconnect system)
  • design and optimize aerospace harnesses throughout their lifecycle
  • create complex harnesses and assemblies in CAD
  • derive fully dimensioned 2D technical drawings for production and certification
  • assist in the development of manufacturing integration and test
  • support system development from concept to production
  • help resolve design manufacturing and assembly issues

Requirements

required:

  • degree in electrical engineering or relevant work experience
  • experience with electrical equipment integration grounding and bonding
  • knowledge of manufacturing drawings including lacing marking and BOMs
  • proficient in CAD and basic knowledge of PDM/PLM systems
  • strong analytical problemsolving skills and a targetoriented driven work style
  • good communication skills
  • allowed to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA)

advantageous:

  • experience in working with Onshape (CAD)
  • experience in working with Altium (schematics & scripting)
  • professional background in the automotive or aerospace sector
