General Site Manager

Nipromec Oy Ltd is an international consulting and engineering company founded in 2003. We offer design and consulting services for multiple industries with emphasis on energy and construction. Nipromec offices in Finland are located in Rauma Turku Tampere and Helsinki. Group has offices also in Malm in Sweden Erlangen in Germany Bristol and London in United Kingdom.

We are now looking for a General Site Manager for a project in Gothenburg Sweden. Duration of the project: September/October 2024 July/October 2025.

Main tasks include:
Ensuring financial quality and HSE goals are met as well as contract requirements.
Maintaining and enhancing customer relationships.
Implementing best practices for HSE Quality Management and cost management.
Unify approach and reporting towards the customer.
Synchronize overall schedule for deliveries.
Make decisions within given frames by Project Manager/Project Director.
Approve local purchases accommodations and transportation.
Maintain overall site schedule.
Implement site planning and scheduling for progress monitoring.
Act as primary contact for customers subcontractors and siterelated activities.
Represent the company in site meetings with customers and vendors.
Manage and report progress cost headcount and time schedule.
Follow up subcontractor resources and implement catchup plans for delays.
Manage supervision team at site.
Ensure compliance with safety features budgets and schedules.
Forecast monthly site budget.
Provide/lead site feedback on designs and constructability.
Evaluate subcontractors during execution.
Provide cost updating/feedback to estimation.
Implement sitespecific HSE plan and risk assessments.
Ensure work is conducted in compliance with laws regulations and HSE standards.
Monitor site safety and report incidents near misses and risk observations.
Identify resources needed for HSE tasks and request from respective resource owners.

We expect:
University degree preference for technical background.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the Pulp Paper and Power Industry with customer interface.
Accomplished 2 demanding senior supervisor assignments successfully.
Has acted as substitute for Site Manager.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Swedish and other languages are viewed as a merit.
Good technical and commercial understanding.
