Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Hatboro PA.

Pay Rate: $43/hr

Duration: 14 weeks contract

Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Guarantee Hours: 40 per week

Job Description:

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to help patients recover from injuries and illnesses regain movement and manage pain. PTAs assist in implementing treatment plans perform therapeutic exercises and educate patients on proper techniques for rehabilitation. They work in various healthcare settings such as hospitals rehabilitation centers clinics and private practices.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Guide patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Apply modalities such as heat cold ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care techniques.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Set up and maintain equipment for therapy sessions.
• Provide support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
