Leading Insurance Company AssuredPartners is seeking an Account Executive Team Lead to add to their midmarket Commercial Lines team!

  • Salary: Competitive salary with bonus potential plus full benefits
  • Office Location: Inoffice role at 500 N Central Expressway Suite 550 Plano TX 75074. Hybrid schedule of 3 days inoffice.
  • Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM CST (fulltime exempt)

Account Executive Team Lead Commercial Lines Insurance Role Summary:

The Team Lead provides a high level of support to team members who include Account Executives Account Managers and Account Coordinators. The Team Lead maintains an assigned book of business as required and serves as representative of team to Management. This role requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion.


Account Executive Team Lead Commercial Lines Insurance Responsibilities:

  • Manage a Book of Business
    • Marketing
    • Proposals and Presentations
    • Client Requests
    • Contract Review
    • Product Expertise
    • CrossSelling
    • Account Strategy
    • Participate in Claims Reviews
    • MidYear Client Strategy Meetings
  • Business Development
    • Assist Producers on Prospective Opportunities including meetings strategy and qualification
    • New Business Marketing strategy
    • Assign account team (AE and AM)
    • Presentations and RFPs
  • Service Team Leadership
    • Direct coaching and managing Commercial Account Executives
    • Identifying opportunities for development in team members
    • Provide performance evaluations and accountability for goals
    • Hold team accountable to service timelines quality control standards and procedures
  • Market Relationships
    • Point Person for Carriers Wholesalers and Intermediaries
    • Provide Markets with strategic intel on book of business
    • Arrange marketing visits discuss growth strategy review numbers set goals and hold markets accountable to RSC standards
    • Develop relationships with management
    • Local point person for partner
  • Community Visibility and Industry Leadership
  • Request Reports for Review and Analysis

Account Executive Team Lead Commercial Lines Insurance Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial role
  • 7 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance with 5 years of experience of independently managing a book at an insurance agency
  • Property & Casualty license required
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of insurance underwriting and coverage
  • Comfortable using Agency Management systems; experience with EPIC a strong plus
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and lead service teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Advanced user of MS Excel and other Microsoft products
  • Industry designations a plus
