Location: Chicago IL This role requires candidates to be local to the Chicago area or willing to relocate for onsite work.
Employment Type: 12 Plus Months Contract (100%Onsite )

Position Overview
Our Client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer for a 12 month contract position. This role requires candidates to be local to the Chicago area or willing to work on site 100%. Applicants should have a strong financial background.
Role Description
The Data Engineer will be responsible for utilizing SQL and other programming languages to extract data from various sources and integrate it into a central data platform. The candidate must work closely with team members and stakeholders to comprehend data requirements structure datasets effectively and develop necessary metrics. A successful Data Engineer in this role will be an expert in SQL and data modeling capable of selfstarting collaborating with team members and stakeholders and presenting findings clearly.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Knowledge and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of Data Engineering experience.
- Expertise in SQL.
- Expertise in data modeling.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) is a plus.
- Python experience is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Selfstarter with strong analytical organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
Educational/Experience Qualifications
- A college or university degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required.
Remarks
- Proficiency in Power BI is a significant requirement.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) would be advantageous.
