Background and Context:
- Master data was carved out from different systems and harmonized for the newly separated company.
- Four different SAP ECC environments as part of company s landscape have been the source for the ERP data.
- SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) has been implemented to manage critical Master Data processes for the following objects: Vendor Customer Material Profit Center Cost Center and General Ledger
- SAP MDG has been implemented with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) approach basic model with minimum customizing.
Our focus now is to maximize data effectiveness and transforming data into value and we are looking at various ways to maximise effective usage of MDG.
Objective:
Bringing operational and cost efficiency through reducing errors streamlining processes and enhancing data access leading to better datadriven decisions and enhanced overall operational efficiency.
Key Challenges:
- (Manual) Process requiring human intervention to request new Materials Vendors Customers etc.
- Manual population of required field values
- Workflows not matching the data organization governance.
- Concerns about data quality for both migrated and created data pertaining to Completeness Integrity Validity and Consistency
- As part of the separation from Company duplication of data in the company environment has occurred leading to challenges in transactional processing and reporting.

You Are A Good Fit If This Sounds Like You: Ability to cope in a complex and fast-changing business environment and to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations in a deadline-driven situation. Works independently on complex processes and modules that may be used by one or more programs or systems. Strong planning and organizing skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously. Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally. Good influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire multidisciplinary teams and build successful relationships at all levels. Good team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative. Clear decision-making ability with the facility to judge complex situations and assess when to escalate issues Kindly note that we are working in a Hybrid Mode with base location in Bengaluru, Karnataka, this is not a remote role.
