Job Description

Our client is a techdriven organization that helps vendors of products and services to conveniently start eCommerce business for a very competitive monthly or annual fee. Our system strategies and technology are designed to catalyze the growth & success of our vendors.

Job Summary

As a Supply Chain Officer at our tech firm you will play a key role in supporting the efficient and effective management of our supply chain operations. You will work closely with senior supply chain professionals to coordinate the procurement logistics and inventory management activities essential for the smooth functioning of our supply chain. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain handson experience in supply chain management within the dynamic and fastpaced technology industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement process by researching potential suppliers obtaining quotes and preparing purchase orders. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services while adhering to quality and cost requirements.

  2. Inventory Management Assistance: Support inventory management activities by monitoring stock levels conducting inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies. Assist in implementing inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.

  3. Logistics Coordination: Aid in coordinating transportation warehousing and distribution activities to ensure the timely delivery of products to customers. Assist in optimizing logistics processes to minimize transit times and transportation costs.

  4. Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in analyzing supply chain data and generating reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover fill rates and ontime delivery performance. Help identify trends and areas for improvement within the supply chain process.

  5. Supplier Relationship Management: Support efforts to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors. Communicate regularly with suppliers to address inquiries resolve issues and track order status.

  6. Documentation and Compliance: Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to procurement logistics and inventory management activities. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

  7. Crossfunctional Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including procurement logistics operations and finance to support supply chain activities. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to facilitate information sharing and coordination.

  8. Process Improvement Initiatives: Contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvement initiatives within the supply chain. Participate in projects aimed at enhancing efficiency reducing costs and improving overall supply chain performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management logistics business administration or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) and familiarity with supply chain management software is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Addtional monthly bonus of 80 000 based on performance
