CC Embedded Software Developer OBD Specialty - Automotive

We are hiring C/C Embedded Software Developer (OBD Specialty Automotive) for our client based in Plaisir France.

Description of the job:

Our customers include all the largest automobile manufacturers motorcycles trucks buses trailers tire manufacturers fleet managers as well as all the major tire chains.

Today our company is working on ambitious projects such as the arrival on the market of intelligent and connected tires.

Your mission :

You participate in the design and development of embedded software within our range of diagnostic tools

You code communication protocols at the input and output of an OBD diagnostic socket for all types of vehicles

You are responsible for the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of our software.

Through field tests you validate your developments

Business travel:

Travel is required for this position:

Comfortable in an international environment and able to travel abroad on an ad hoc basis (intervention with clients and training/meetings within our international subsidiaries)

Requirements

Ideal profile

Your technical skills:

• You code in C C Python
  
• You have a perfect mastery of all communication protocols used for onboard diagnostics: CAN CAN FD DoIP
  
• You have already implemented or are familiar with Secure Gateway support in automotive or truck diagnostic tools
  
• You have experience in reverse engineering
  
• You are motivated by the idea of working and sharing your knowledge with a multidisciplinary international team spread across the four corners of the globe (Europe Asia United States)
  

Your profile :

• Senior engineer graduated from an engineering school or able to demonstrate equivalent experience
  
• Very good level of English (oral and written)
  
• Rigorous autonomous efficient proactive and good project manager
